The Mike & Sofia Segal Foundation is proud to announce a new Amigour facility for older adults in Tel Aviv – 22 units for couples and 68 units for single residents – and renovating 61 existing units.
The Amigour’s Plugot residence is located in the city’s Hatikva Quarter. It is situated next to a park and a future light rail line. In addition to the new construction and the renovation of the existing apartments, all of the public spaces in the existing building have been renovated.
Founded in 1972 as a non-profit company, Amigour is a subsidiary of the Jewish Agency and is Israel’s leading sheltered housing company and second-largest public housing group.
A large majority of the residents at these housing facilities are new immigrants from the Former Soviet Union and Holocaust survivors.
